Zimbabwe is beautiful country and the people are open and friendly.

 

The weather is quite pleasant following the general weather patterns of the South African Highveld, with spring often blending into summer. We have summer rains and dry, mild to cold winters. Autumn is often brief with occassional mild misty mornings (guti), warm afternoons and cool evenings. Therefore we suggest carrying a warm cardigan with you when you visit us in April 2016.

 

The Zimbabwean local currency is the US Dollar (US$). Unfortunately the South African Rand (ZAR) is no longer accepted, so make sure you've arranged with your bank or reputable financial institution to get enough US$ for your trip.

 

Distance from Johannesburg to Harare is approximately 1120 km. You can walk, fly, or drive, but make sure to book your  tickets early and we wish you a safe journey and a pleasant stay.
